Description

The Phoenix DryRod II Type 2 portable rod oven offers welders the ability to control oven temperature in the field, with a 20 lb electrode storage capacity for 14-inch or 18-inch electrodes. The oven can be filled from a large capacity storage oven and used to keep electrodes moisture-free until use, ensuring compliance with welding code requirements. Built with heavy gauge steel and powder coated to withstand challenging conditions, the Type 2 features a rod elevator for quick removal of electrodes, adjustable thermostat, body and lid insulation to minimize heat loss, and a 10-ft cord that locks into the oven base for a fixed connection. The Safety Yellow color increases field visibility and a spring latch tightly secures the insulated lid for transport.
