The Fibre-Metal Tigerhood Classic Thermoplastic Welding Helmet in Gray (5906GY) is made from heat-resistant thermoplastic Noryl material for superior protection against sparks and spatter. It features a smooth, seamless shell that deflects sparks and spatter to reduce burn-through risk, meeting ANSI Z87.1 and CSA Z94.3 standards. The unique design combines straight and curved front for extended throat protection while blocking fumes and smoke, with air circulation to help clear any smoke and fumes that seep in. The Model 5000 Speedy Loop Mounting System allows for frequent on/off use with protective hard hats, fully adjustable to fit any style of hard hat without tools or modifications.
